Smoked Prime Rib

Prime Rib

20-30 Minutes
Oven
Place the steak in a pan and cover with foil. To retain the quality of the meat, add drippings from the package, or 1/4 cup of low-sodium beef stock.

Place in a preheated 300-degree oven for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on size of meat. The USDA recommends that reheated meat reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees, well beyond medium rare at 140 degrees. However, for steak purposes, you may reheat to your desired temperature. Consume at your own risk.
Microwave
If keeping the meat as pink as possible isn't an issue, it's acceptable to reheat a slice of prime rib in the microwave, starting with 30 second intervals, checking the temperature between blasts. This method sacrifices some of the meat's tenderness in exchange for speed and convenience.

Place the Prime Rib in a microwave safe container and heat for 60-90 seconds. Turn and repeat until desired temperature. (Not recommended for color).
